OH MY GOODNESS……THIS HAPPENED IN THE FALL WHILE WE WERE IN OHIO. I MADE THIS POST, BUT I’M AFRAID IT WAS NEVER POSTED! (MUST HAVE BEEN ONE OF THOSE “SENIOR MOMENTS”!) I THOUGHT IT MAY STILL BE OF INTEREST TO SOME OF YOU.
While at Deer Creek State Park, about 1/2 hour away in Columbus, was the Country Living Fair “where the magazine comes to life”. They were right – over 200 venders/artists selling their wares! We had a terrific time!
They grow big pumpkins in Ohio!
So much cool stuff to choose from!
Apple cobbler….they also had blackberry, peach and cherry – ice cream optional.
Pumpkins aren’t the only things that grow big in Ohio – this is the biggest fly we’ve ever seen!
We are retired nurses with a desire to explore the United States, and beyond, in our Winnebago motor home. We are accompanied our three pups, Fanny May, Kaiser, and Rosie.

We went one year to the Country Living Fair in Nashville. Unfortunately, it rained heavily the whole weekend. We made the best of it, and we bought a “Pump It” hand tool to use in the yard which I still love. I would love to go to another one when there was good weather. It sounds like it was really fun. Thanks for your post, and have a great day!
