Polson/Flathead Lake KOA – Polson, MT

KOA’s are almost always great campgrounds and this one did not disappoint. The amenities were top notch – of course you pay a bit more. We had full hookups with gravel sites that were fairly level. We had a regular site with grass and a picnic table while Marj and Larry had a premier site with cement pad, patio set with four chairs, a rocking double adirondack chair, a gas grill and fire pit – WOW! We had a view of Flathead Lake which is a beautiful huge lake.

The store was well stocked and had a lot of really nice things like shirts, jewelry and home decor. There was free mini golf, a dog run and a nice swimming pool. The staff was helpful and friendly. The campground WIFI was fair, tons of over the air channels and good Dish reception.

Marj and I managed to find a few stores and even a farmers market AND a craft fair. As always we had a lot of fun nosing around. I even found another quilt store!

Along the way we saw a few interesting sights. We especially liked the fence made of bicycles! How creative is that?
