On our way to Yellowstone National Park…..

We took two days to travel to Yellowstone from Glacier…..no point in rushing – we’re retired, right??

So along the way, we saw some beautiful, interesting and fun sights that I thought you may enjoy seeing – here they are!

The white trucks were actually joined together, full of rocks, and moving VERY slowly up the mountain highway. It’s not uncommon to see logging trucks in this area but I had NEVER seen a triple semi trailer before! The picture in the middle was taken on our way past Butte, Montana – “Our Lady of the Rockies” is 90 feet high and was built in the likeness of Mary, mother of Jesus. She sits atop the Continental Divide overlooking the city. And the sunset shining on the mountain stream turned it to gold!

And we continue on…….Happy Trails!

We are retired nurses with a desire to explore the United States, and beyond, in our Winnebago motor home. We are accompanied our three pups, Fanny May, Kaiser, and Rosie.

  1. Grandma would love the trees! She would say, “look at how tall and straight they are!” She would always talk about the ones on our trip to visit you in WI, I’m sure she would have been blown away at those!
