I cannot lie…..as soon as this campground came into view, we all knew it was a 5 out of 5! It is situated in the town of West Yellowstone, Montana but still offers a very quiet setting. The sites are beautiful….level gravel with cement pads, most are pull through with full hook up. We were lucky enough to get on the end which gave us a huge “yard”. The sites are spacious with a good amount of space in between. The campground is meticulously maintained and the registration office offered a great store with friendly and helpful people.
The WIFI here is the best we have seen since leaving home, the cable TV is great but we don’t get any air channels. Our cell connection is superb. I didn’t think the bathrooms could be better than the ones at Mountain Meadow outside of Glacier but these are just as nice if not a bit nicer….they are spotless!

This is our first night here. I thought it would be fun to get a night shot, but our neon light flamingo in the front and our tiki torches don’t really show up….but you get the idea.

The first full day, Howie had to work in the morning. So Marj and I decided to shop downtown West Yellowstone. It was actually just a few blocks from us so Marj decided to ride her scootie chair. I thought you might enjoy seeing this mad mama tearing up the streets…..

We spent a full two days touring the park and saw so much beauty and wildlife. Check out my upcoming post on Yellowstone and our adventures there. Until then, Happy Trails!
