Sometimes in life, things don’t work out the way you had hoped. This was the case of our stay in New Hampshire. First, let me say, that the state is a beautiful state…..we just didn’t get to experience it because, 1) we were only there for 2 1/2 days and 2) we were there on the tail end of Hurricane Henri. So it was raining during our stay! Because there’s not a lot to share, I decided to combine this post with the campground post.
On the way here, we passed over a few interesting bridges, passing through Boston where the traffic was quite heavy. The rain rolled in shortly after arriving at our campground – this however, did not stop Marj and me from seeking out a few good antique stores to browse through.

The campground offered decent size sites that were level but had minimal privacy. The foundation was gravel with grass but little to no shade. There were few amenities which included a game room, nice bath houses and laundry, a playground with horseshoe pits. The WiFi was not remarkable and there was no cable. The location was good as it wasn’t far to stores and restaurants. We would stay here again.
