This KOA campground is about 20 minutes south of downtown OKC. It is located about 1 minute from one of the major highways, so it is easy to get to places. There is a Love’s Truck Stop at that intersection.
The campground is a bit dusty even though the roads are blacktop. The sites are gravel, some with patios, patio furniture, gas grills and fire pits which are very nice. The sites are fairly level and there are trees throughout the campground. The sites are spacious but with minimal privacy.
WiFi is okay/good and over the air TV is fantastic with about 56 channels.
There is a dog park but it is red dirt with only a tiny patch of grass. There is a swimming pool, a laundry and a camp store. The bathrooms are a plus here as each is a large private room with a toilet, shower and sink – they are exceptionally clean.
We give this campground a 7-8 out of 10.
