Portsmouth, New Hampshire Sea Coast Camping and RV Resort North Hampton, NH

Sometimes in life, things don’t work out the way you had hoped. This was the case of our stay in New Hampshire. First, let me say, that the state is a beautiful state…..we just didn’t get to experience it because, 1) we were only there for 2 1/2 days and 2) we were there onContinue reading “Portsmouth, New Hampshire Sea Coast Camping and RV Resort North Hampton, NH”

Shady Knoll Campground Brewster, Massachusets

Shady Knoll in Brewster proved to be pretty centrally located on Cape Cod. It was about an hours drive to Provincetown on the tip of the “Horn”, about 45 minutes to Sandwich and about 30 minutes to Chatham. Brewster itself had many attributes, including some interesting stores and antique shops. It’s in Brewster that HowieContinue reading “Shady Knoll Campground Brewster, Massachusets”

Cape Cod, Massachusetts …..and Martha’s Vineyard

It’s been a while since my last posting and I apologize for the delay. I have been having a great deal of trouble with my WiFi connection – partially because of our locations but also because of the weather, namely Henri!! So, a few mornings back, we left Cape Cod, Massachusetts after enjoying the areaContinue reading “Cape Cod, Massachusetts …..and Martha’s Vineyard”

Melville Ponds Campground Portsmouth, Rhode Island

Currently we are at Melville Ponds Campground. This is a really nice campground with very spacious sites but again the sites are flat but not level. The foundation is gravel with grass around your site. Amenities include fishing, shower houses, a dog park, camp store and playground. It is close to shops and restaurants. CableContinue reading “Melville Ponds Campground Portsmouth, Rhode Island”

Seaport RV Resort, Old Mystic, Connecticut

Amenities included a pool, a playground, dog park and mini golf. On the property was a large building where boats were being restored. The first boat was 120Continue reading “Seaport RV Resort, Old Mystic, Connecticut”

New York City, New York – Part II (and just a little bit of Mystic, Connecticut!)

Our second day in the city took us to Pier 83 where we boarded a boat cruising around Manhatten, the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Thus far, we have been blessed by really great weather (minus one tropical storm) and today the sun was once again shining. With temperatures in the high 70’s toContinue reading “New York City, New York – Part II (and just a little bit of Mystic, Connecticut!)”

The Great Divide Campground Newton, New Jersey (NYC)

This campground was an “add on” when we decided to add New York City to our existing itinerary. It’s an interesting place – rolling hills and sprawled out making it a little difficult to maneuver a big rig into your campsite. When we made our reservation, we were told that the camp sites are level…..well,Continue reading “The Great Divide Campground Newton, New Jersey (NYC)”
